Our Core Values
Last May, Stage Door Dance Productions was honored to receive a City of Raleigh Proclamation declaring May 13th, 2023 as “Be More” Day.
The proclamation read as follows:
WHEREAS, Stage Door Dance Productions has been a leading organization for 14 years in the City of Raleigh, and,
WHEREAS, Stage Door Dance Productions recognizes that their impact is reflected far more than in a singular class or performance, and,
WHEREAS, at Stage Door Dance Productions, students develop their leadership potential through activities that enable them to discover their values, dance skills, confidence, and the world around them, connecting with others in a multicultural environment, and,
WHEREAS, our community represents every race, ethnicity, income level, sexual orientation, ability, and religion, Stsage Door Dance Productions development of The Spotlight Institute is committed to sharing programming that will elevate humanity through creativity, conversation, and curiosity, helping to make our community and world a better place, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Raleigh, North Carolina, encourages all businesses, institutions, and individuals to engage in health activity and find opportunities to reach across boundaries and find common ways to engage for teh betterment of the city.
NOW, THEREFORE, do I, Mary-Ann Baldwin, Mayor of the City of Raleigh, North Carolina, do hereby proclaim May 13, 2023 as
“BE MORE” DAY
and, encourage, our citizens in Raleigh to lead active, healthy, and engaging lifestyles where they can listen, learn, and grow.

Since 2017, our tagline has been “Be More At Stage Door.”
After receiving the proclamation, our Leadership Team met and discussed how we could tie the truth of our story into concise, core values to guide our every day operations.
